You can get our skins in rolls. Those rolls are 40 m long and are ready to cut, that means they are coated with glue and sealed on the edges in widths of 20 mm to 130 mm.


In the same widths we have traditional straight skins with either rubber tip and end hook (Combi), metal front hook without end fixation (Standard) or metal front hook with end fixation under the bindings (Expedition).


Nowadays we sell mostly custom fit skins. At Montana the skins are hand made and can be done in the different already mentioned versions (Combi,Standard, Expedition), additionally the customer needs different tip fixations depending on the width and size and form of the ski tip: normal-fixation or freeride-fixation. For extreme freeride skis we also have a twintip solution.


The width can be completely custom made. We normally deduct 7 mm at front, 5 mm in the middle and 7 mm at the end of the skis to make sure that the edges are free. But our customers can choose whatever width they want.
In 3 days you get your custom cut skins at your sportshop, all we need are a few data.


For short Freeride tours or as backup skins we designed the 1 m long Shorty, it is small, light and can be fixed onto every ski.
